Easy options:
Make piles about 3 ft apart, and then spread to a fairly even layer with the back of a rake
Slit open one end of the bag and drag it over the ground slowly to create a ribbon about 15" wide, 1" thick and 4-6ft long.

How Do I Use Turbo Topsoil
Turbo Topsoil naturally holds moisture (no added chemicals) and holds it right next to seed and roots, minimizing runoff and evaporation so you water less!
New Lawn - Sod
Spread 1" deep layer (2" for poor, clay, rocky soil). Lay sod, dragging and shifting to help level soil underneath. Water well and sod becomes heavy, settling into soil. Water as needed.
New Lawn - Seed
Spread 1" deep layer (2" for poor, clay, rocky soil). Seed at recommended rate, lightly rake in. Use SHOWER setting to gently moisten - no puddles! Water daily until grass sprouts, then as needed to keep top 1" moist.
Patching Existing Lawn
Spread 1/2" deep layer over bare spots (assumes 25% bare). Seed recommended rate, lightly rake in. Sprinkle surface until soil is wet - DO NOT OVERWATER. Water daily until grass sprouts, then as needed to keep top 1" moist.
Planting Trees & Shrubs
Dig hole twice as wide and 3" deeper than root ball.If removed soil is poor, clay, rocky soil - discard it. If soil is good, mix it 50/50 with Turbo Topsoil. Fill bottom 3" with Turbo Topsoil. Place root ball level with ground, backfill with Turbo Topsoil, tamp lightly, and straighten plant
